We have a Master Bedroom!

I finally got to load in a lot of the furnishings into the newly finished master.  There are still a few things to do like install a door, but otherwise, it now resembles a bedroom instead of a dusty workroom with cement floors and bare walls.

The color on the wall reads much more green in these pictures as it does in person.  The wall  is really more like the cushion on the bed.

I love the rug - it is super soft and plush.  I am hoping that it won't become a great spot for scorpions to hide though.

I was happy to find a patterned quilt that wasn't all flowers but still had some turquoise with lots of other colors.  As a bonus it even has some gray like the rug and curtains.  This one should pass the male spouse test.

I still have to complete the baseboards in the closets and hall.  But more interesting I have an idea for an art project to go in this room.  I have a painting I bought a a resale shop that I am going to modify significantly.  I'll post an update as that when I get it done.  The room will look more complete once I get some artwork on the walls, as is true throughout the house.  One step at a time...
